Andini Makosinski is a 25 year old Filipino-Polish “Renaissance Woman”, meaning she has many passions and skills in both the arts & sciences.
You may know Andini Makosinski for her sustainability-focused inventions, including the Hollow Flashlight, a flashlight that runs off the heat of the human hand, and the eDrink, a coffee mug that produces electricity off the excess heat of your hot drink.
Following her win at the Google Science Fair and multiple guest appearances on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Andini’s career as a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) ambassador took off as her life went viral.
Andini is also a global keynote speaker, and has spoken at places and events ranging from Peter Diamandis’ Singularity University, 5 TEDx , Dubai, Iceland, Chile, Argentina, Berlin, Armenia, etc.
Andini has been a campaign ambassador and model for many brands, including Maybelline New York, Converse, Uniqlo, Five Star, Merrell Korea, Google Pixel etc..
She just finished writing the manuscript of her book, which is set to be published with Knopf Canada in Spring 2024. The book is focused on Andini’s beliefs and experience behind the crucial (yet often overlooked) combination of science and art, her experience as an inventor, reconnecting with one’s creativity and imagination, the importance of improvisation as an inventor etc..
Most recently, Andini has stepped into the role of an on-screen host, with her series by Million Stories and Experian on Financial Literacy, "Your World On Money." She is currently working on developing a show about Futurism, and writing her own scripts. More Details
