Dave Hall, CPA, PFS is a nationally recognized speaker, educator, and founder of Retirement Risk Advisors, where he helps professionals and families implement elite, risk-based lifestyle and legacy planning strategies traditionally reserved for the 1%. After earning his master’s degree in accounting from Southern Utah University, Dave built and led one of the largest CPA firms in Las Vegas history. But along the way, he realized tax savings alone don’t create a successful retirement, they create false confidence without real protection. That realization led Dave to leave the firm he helped build and pursue a higher level of planning. While living in Puerto Rico, he began developing a family-office style system focused on managing retirement risks, creating reliable income, optimizing taxes, and intentionally transferring wealth with purpose. His work makes the sophisticated strategies once reserved for institutional and ultra-wealthy families accessible to everyday families. Today, based in Tennessee, Dave spends most of his time on Zoom working directly with CPAs and other professionals, implementing advanced retirement, tax, and legacy planning strategies that deliver clarity, control, and long-term impact through truly elite planning.
