Nancy Fellinger has been a Certified Financial Planner® professional since 2001. She has also earned the designations of Retirement Management Advisor®, Retirement Income Certified Professional®, Chartered Life Underwriter®, Chartered Financial Consultant® and Accredited Estate Planner®.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wheaton College in Massachusetts, and before deciding to make a career change to financial services in 1990 she was working towards a master’s degree in social work at the University of Connecticut. On her own, Nancy built a successful financial planning practice focused on women experiencing life transitions due to divorce or being widowed, and on couples planning their transition to retirement. Wanting to provide her clients with more proactive tax management and asset-liability matching investment strategies to better secure their retirement income, Nancy merged her practice with Sensible Money. Fellinger serves on the board of directors of the Financial Planning Association of South Carolina and is an at-large member of the National Association of Estate Planning Councils (NAEPC). She is also a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA), the National Association of Personal Financial Planners (NAPFA), and the Investments & Wealth Institute (IWI).
