Richard Sherman

Richard Sherman is a former American football cornerback and television personality who played 11 seasons in the NFL. Sherman played college football at Stanford, beginning his career as a wide receiver before moving to cornerback as a junior. He was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the fifth round of the 2011 NFL Draft.In 2011, Richard entered the NFL Draft and was selected in 5th round, 154th overall, by the Seattle Seahawks and earned a spot on the 2011 All-Rookie team. Since coming into the league, Richard has been named to 5 Pro Bowl rosters and five All-Pro teams and has 35 career interceptions. In 2013, Richard and the Seahawks won their first Super Bowl. He finished the year as a 1st Team All-Pro cornerback, Pro Bowler, and most importantly, Super Bowl Champion. Richard signed with the San Francisco 49ers in 2018 and helped them get back to the Super Bowl. Richard’s passion for financial literacy led him to partner with the Singleton Foundation for Financial Literacy and Entrepreneurship by hosting a show on their free digital channel called Million Stories. His show, ADULTING WITH RICHARD SHERMAN, helps young people manage their finances as they embark on their first adult decisions. Sherman has his own charity called Blanket Coverage – The Richard Sherman Family Foundation. In 2013, Sherman started his charity to help children in low-income communities by providing them with school supplies and clothing. His foundation was formed to help children across the country achieve academic success.
