Buckingham Strategic Wealth
Ryne Vickery’s experience with investing began at a very young age. After saving $750 at the age 10, he gave it to his parents’ advisor who invested it in a technology mutual fund. That fund grew to over $3,500 in just a few years before crashing to around $1,000 after the dot-com bubble burst. Despite the ups and downs, Ryne became fascinated with the financial industry and knew what kind of career he wanted.
As a wealth advisor, Vickery works with his advisory team to develop comprehensive wealth management plans for clients. After learning their goals, values and concerns, he helps clients plan to achieve their objectives and alleviate those concerns. Ryne’s ideal clients are professionals, retirees/near-retirees and same-sex couples. The best part of his day is meeting with clients and discovering ways he can be helpful.
Ryne joined Buckingham in 2009 as a client relationship specialist for Buckingham Strategic Partners (BSP) advisor services team and previously served on the onboarding & integration team to help new advisors join Buckingham and BSP. He has been in the financial industry for over 13 years and earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional designation in 2015.
A proud Tiger, Ryne holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and banking from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Outside of Buckingham, he enjoys traveling, watching the Cardinals and Blues, playing the piano and checking out the St. Louis food scene. He currently resides with his husband Jeff, and Labradoodle Archie in the Lafayette Square neighborhood of St. Louis.
