Press Release
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

First episode features retirement researcher David Blanchett

Boston, Mass. — March 18, 2026 — FinStream today announced the launch of Decoding Your Money, a new weekly podcast hosted by award-winning financial journalist Robert Powell, CFP®, RMA®. The show is designed to help individuals and families make better financial decisions by simplifying the increasingly complex world of personal finance.

The podcast targets listeners across all life stages and levels of financial literacy, while also offering financial advisers insight into the research and strategies shaping how people plan, save and invest.

Each episode features conversations with leading researchers, subject matter experts and financial advisers, translating complex ideas into practical guidance that listeners can apply to their own financial lives.

The first episode features David Blanchett, head of retirement research at Prudential Financial and a portfolio manager at PGIM. Blanchett discusses his latest research on retirement spending patterns, longevity risk and how investors and advisers can rethink retirement income planning.

“Financial planning has become significantly more complex over the past two decades,” Powell said. “The goal of Decoding Your Money is to help people make sense of that complexity by breaking down the research, trade-offs and decisions that shape their financial lives, and to provide clear, practical guidance they can act on.”

New episodes will be released weekly, with each conversation focused on helping listeners better understand their choices around saving, investing, retirement planning and other key financial decisions.

The podcast is available on the FinStream platform as well as major podcast and video platforms.
